Cold Feet

Video installation with video-mapping of three dangling legs on an old mattress.

Experiment in my research on the multifocal experience. The focus of the viewer changes between seeing the image as what it represents and seeing it as an abstraction of the image. One moment you see legs bungling through a mattress, the next you look at an abstraction of uneven rotations. The image becomes a physical, tangible thing.

This experiment was created during a video-mapping workshop organized by Piazza dell 'Arte in Antwerp.
